Theatrical Outfit is interested in actors with signficant stage experience/training in theatre. 

Theatrical Outfit does not hold general auditions.

 Our Casting Director attends the spring Atlanta Unified Auditions sponsored by the Atlanta Coalition of Performing Arts. If you attended Unifieds on March 31 and April 1, 2014, trust that your work was seen by a Theatrical Outfit casting representative.
You do not need to resubmit a head shot and resume. 

 Theatrical Outfit ( operates under an
SPT 8 contract with Actors’ Equity Association. 

We do not supply housing to out of town actors
nor can we view video submissions from non-local talent.

The final part of Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright John Patrick Shanley’s “Doubt” trilogy, this dramatic comedy follows 2005’s Doubt: A Parable and 2006’s Defiance. When the mortgage crisis forces a Bronx Borough President to confront an unorthodox minister, the
question they face is one common to us all: What is the relationship between spiritual experience and social action?

**The roles of TOM RAIDNEBERG, and JESSIE CORTEZ have been precast.**


Ethan Goldklang
Male, “a threadbare Jewish accountant in his 60s”; a bit of a Borscht Belt comedian despite his circumstances. In questionable health. Actor must be very comfortable with New York dialect.

Donaldo Calderon
Male, Bronx borough president and a quintessential politician, half-Italian, half-Puerto Rican, in his 40s. Actor must be very comfortable with New York dialect.

Reed Van Druyten
Male, early to mid 40s, probably from an old New York family, a bank officer whose life has fallen apart; actor must be comfortable with playing physical disabilities: As a result of being shot in the face, Van Druyten’s face is partially paralyzed and he has a tic in his speech.

Chester Kimmich
Male, mid 30s-mid 50s, African-American, a preacher who has lost his faith; southern dialect; a man of great emotional depth.

Audition Information

Theatrical Outfit’s Mission is to employ Atlanta-based talent.

Auditions are held on a show by show basis and are open to Equity and Non-Equity actors.

Check Equity Hotline for up-to-date Casting Notices.

Equity Members are encouraged to schedule audition appointments.

Equity Members without appointments will be seen as time permits between and after scheduled appointments.

Non-Equity Actors will be seen at Directors discretion and based on schedule availability.

Sides and scripts will be available at Box Office for one-hour sign-out.
