ALLAN EDWARDS* (George) Atlanta audiences know Allan from performances at the Alliance: Shakespeare in Love and Hand to God; the Horizon: Citizen’s Market, City of Conversation, Grand Concourse, The Waffle Palace, Legacy of Light, The Algae Eaters; Georgia Shakespeare: One Man Two Guvnors, King Lear, Antony and Cleopatra, Hamlet; Synchronicity: Anne Boleyn; Serenbe Playhouse: The Seagull, A Walk In the Woods (for which he won a Suzi Best Actor Award); and Theater Emory: Peer Gynt, Buried Child, Persuasion. In his 40-year career, Allan has worked in theaters from Minneapolis, Louisville, Richmond, Greensboro, and Charlotte, to his hometown Houston, Texas. TV and Film credits include “Good Girls,” “Ozark,” “Satisfaction,” “Vice-Principals,” “Resurrection,” “Being Mary Jane,” “Drop Dead Diva,” “Dawson’s Creek,” Hometown Boy Makes Good, Killing Reagan, and When Love Kills. Allan holds an M.F.A. from the University of Louisville, and is a proud member of AEA and SAG/AFTRA.
