Mary Lynn Owen

MARY LYNN OWEN* (Company Member) is an Atlanta-based theatre artist whose one-person show, Knead, a recipient of both the Reiser Lab Award and a semi-finalist for the O’Neill Playwriting Conference, received its world premiere at the Alliance Theatre’s Hertz Stage last fall.  Other career highlights include performances of Crossing Delancey (Alliance Theatre); Wit (Aurora Theatre – Suzi Award, Best Actress in a Leading Role); The Glass Menagerie (Georgia Shakespeare Festival); The Little Foxes (Theatre in the Square – Suzi Award, Best Actress in a Supporting Role;) Six Degrees of Separation (Actor’s Express); Third  (Horizon Theatre); The Last Night of Ballyhoo (Georgia Ensemble;) Dividing the Estate (Theatrical Outfit;) Revolt. She Said. Revolt Again (Seven Stages.)  ML is a faculty member of Emory University’s Theater Studies Department, and a proud member of Actor’s Equity Association and The Dramatist’s Guild.
